Allambi Youth Services selection criteria:

• A current driver’s license
  (Copy to be provided at interview).
• A comprehensively insured motor vehicle
  (Copy of policy to be provided at interview).
• A mobile phone with message bank application.

• Current first aid certificate
  (Copy to be provided at interview).
• Experience working with case plans
• High level of assessment skills together with information gathering, problem solving, and evaluation skills.
• The ability to use initiative and the capacity to work within a team environment.
• Ability to manage challenging situations while applying policy, procedure and legislation to deliver services to children and young people in out-of-home care.
• Demonstrated interpersonal, negotiation, advocacy and written communication skills.
• Preferred qualification Diploma (Cert. IV acceptable) in youth work or related discipline.
• An understanding of EEO, OH&S and Ethical Practice.
• Experience in working with children and young people with complex needs, knowledge of child development and understanding of children and young people in out-of-home care.
• Experience in crisis intervention.
• Must have completed the working with children check (WWCC) at the time of application.
